3-Jan Genesis 5-6, Matthew 5-6, Psalms 11-15, Proverbs 3

Gen 6:6-8 (NIV) 6 The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the Lord said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

The entire world had gone astray, following after their own lust of the flesh, serving idols, and intermingling the human genetics with angelic beings.  The genetic code was being messed with which was a direct violation of God's ownership on His creation.  As a side note, mankind is once again messing with the genetic copyright, creating genetically modified fish, crops, and the government has just announced the creation of genetically modified super soldiers who are stronger, able to run and fight for days without food or water, and who are about to make their appearance in the next wars.  Pretty creepy stuff, and what's so shocking is that God destroyed the world that last time when man started messing with the genetics which are under God's copyright protection.

Needless to say, NOAH FOUND FAVOR IN THE EYES OF THE LORD!

We can also find favor in the eyes of the Lord.  When all hell is breaking loose around you, and mankind is spiraling downward into a pit of destruction and ultimate adamic pride and rebellion against God, there is a place of favor!

Gen 6:9 (NIV)9 This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.

Today, we need to walk with God on a daily basis.  COMPASS GUIDE, daily bible reading, prayer, and walking out your goals through God's holy fire will put you right in the middle of God's favor!  Many people are building many things.  Some are building the tower of babyl. Some are building their own house on sand.  Some are building for God.  And many of those will come before Him and say, "Lord, Lord! Look at all we did for you, and all that we built in your name!"  And He will turn to them and say, "AWAY FROM ME. I NEVER KNEW YOU!"  Wow, many who are building for God will be rejected because He didn't tell them to build those things.

This is why it's so important to be IN THE FIRE with God.  We must be IN THE WORD with God.  We must be setting godly goals with kingdom purpose, and committing our way to the Lord so that He can direct our paths. We must be humble, submissive, correctable, and easily teachable.  NOAH was all of these things.  He walked with God and he was blameless among the people of his time.  He was righteous, which means that he was RIGHT WHERE GOD WAS.  He stayed close to God.

God gave Noah a huge job to do which would require decades of work, alot of money and effort, and his entire family would need to help him build an ark of safety.  This would be no small task!

Gen 6:22 (NIV) 22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Of course he did!  He hung out with God. He always did what God told him to do.  He was close in his daily walk with the King of kings.  Why did God choose him to build the ark of safety which would deliver a seed into the new world?  Because Noah always obeyed God and did everything he was told.

This is our key to success today.  Hang out with God.  Be blameless among the people of your day. Listen for God and stay in the Word of God every day.  When He speaks to you and helps you to identify your core purpose and your short, medium, long term goals, move towards them in faith and with action.  You have favor in God's eyes while living in a world of corruption! Very Happy Smile  Cool  king
