07/28 Compass Guide Comments By Dr. Daniel Daves

28-Jul Esther 9-10, 1 Cor. 13-14, Psalms 141-145, Proverbs 28

Esth 9:1-3 (NIV) On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them. 2 The Jews assembled in their cities in all the provinces of King Xerxes to attack those seeking their destruction. No one could stand against them, because the people of all the other nationalities were afraid of them. 3 And all the nobles of the provinces, the satraps, the governors and the king's administrators helped the Jews, because fear of Mordecai had seized them.

Fear seized the enemies of the Jews as God had turned the tables towards righteousness.   The jews found Hamans 10 sons and hung them all on gallows.  The completed the job that King Saul failed to complete 600 years before.  What a lesson concerning full obedience to God's plan.  There was great celebration among the Jewish nation as full restoration had been given, Mordecai ruled under the king in righteousness, and the land took a turn towards freedom, liberty, and honor.  All of Haman's household and assets were given to Queen Esther, and the cycle was complete.  Evil had been destroyed and righteousness ruled the land.  Where is Spielburg, King, or the great movie producers of the day? This is a perfect, true story to be made into a big screen production!!

I want to point out that this entire story of Esther revolved around GREAT FAITH, GREAT RISK, and Queen Esther and Mordecai's willingness to give their lives to death to save their people.  Before Esther became queen, her training under Mordecai would be of the most importance.  He would teach her the issues of the kingdom, and the laws and principles of royalty in the kingdom.  Without this education, she would not have survived the cut when the king was looking for a queen.  But because she was well versed in righteousness, kingdom living, and she had a submissive and humble heart, she was qualified to step into position to save her people.  She clearly had also been trained in GIVING YOUR LIFE FOR MANY, and RISKING IT ALL for the dream of God.  This Mordecai who trained her was a true hero, a prince, a royal authority with no recognition, and a great man after God's own heart.  But he was seemingly positioned to care for an orphan girl as part of his timely obedience.

Whether God has you caring for orphan girls, or whether He has you learning kingdom principles, leadership principles, or the laws of God, be faithful and learn.  Open your eyes, ears, and heart to the WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, and UNDERSTANDING that are being poured out to you.  You are being trained for "such a time as this" which is approaching very quickly.  Time is short.  LEARN HARD! (that's a play on the NIKE commercial, "play hard").

COMPASS GUIDE will help accelerate your learning and understanding of who you are, what God has called you to, and how to step up as a king and seize the kingdom by force which God has given you access to.  Get your COMPASS GUIDE one year planner today at .
