03/20 Reading - Thoughts & Comments

Post by Admin on Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:26 am

20-Mar Deut 11-12 2 Cor. 7-8 Psalms 91-95 Proverbs 20

Deut 11:10-12 (NIV) 10 The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden. 11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. 12 It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

God's land of promise for you is not like the land that you've been living in.  It's a different dimension.  It's terrain, growing season, and weather patterns are all different from the land that you've been used to.  When I read this scripture (above) I thought of Costa Rica vs. where I came from in Texas.  It's one thing to plant a garden in Texas, but it's another thing to watch things grow in Costa Rica.  The soil is so fertile here that it's said you could put a broom stick in the ground and it would start growing.  The mountains, valleys, rainy season, and twelve month growing season is so much different than the Texas extreme heat and short term growing seasons.  Everything grows easily in Costa Rica and anyone who has a piece of land here, has food growing on it somehow, even without trying. The trees produce fruit everywhere, so there's always something to eat.  And if you ever decide to actually plant something on purpose, the harvest is continual!

In the same way, your environment is about to change as you pursue your dream.  Your dream is in a different dimension than your past and present, and it operates and multiplies under a different set of rules.  This dreamland is a place of milk and honey, where the grapes are as big as basketballs.  A larger harvest requires a different environment, and God will take you there.  But you must be ready to change your thinking, change your sowing and reaping patterns, and prepare for much more multiplication and growth capacity than previously in your old environment.  Egypt and the wilderness will not compare to the land of your dreams which God is taking you to.

COMPASS GUIDE sets a daily reading of the scriptures so God can begin to speak to you about this different dimension.  You will need to know the seasons, growth patterns, and how things work in this new dreamland if you are going to be successful at "having dominion" over it.  God will give you revelational insight on how to manage and grow your dream through His word and prayer communication with Him.

Be prepared to enter a new land, a different dimension, and a new set of rules as you head towards your expanded dreamland!   king king  king
