02/13 Reading - Thoughts & Comments DX3

Post by Admin on Wed Feb 13, 2013 8:32 am

13-Feb Leviticus 1-2 John 19-20 Psalms 66-70 Proverbs 13

Lev 1:1-2 (NIV)1 The Lord called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting. He said, 2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any of you brings an offering to the Lord, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.

Leviticus starts with God calling out to Moses from INSIDE THE TENT of meeting.  God saw that Moses had built just as He was shown the pattern in Heaven.  And when that pattern was duplicated on earth, God was pleased and He moved into that tabernacle to live there with the Israelites.  He then began to speak from within that tabernacle.

We have been discussing over the past week that God gives the instructions, and man is supposed to build after those instructions, perfectly building from the blueprint that Heaven gives.  But most people don't know what the blueprint is, and they live fruitless lives, building from wood, hay, and stubble.  We see Moses was successful at getting the plans from God, building the plans on earth, and God moved in and spoke to Him from inside the tabernacle.  So we know that it's possible for us to do the same.  But it will require commitment.

What? Know ye not that YOU are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit?  If that's true, and if you are building your life after the 25 WORD CORE VISION STATEMENT which the Compass Guide program helps you to develop, then you are building from God's blueprint for your life.  And IF you are building after the blueprint, God will inhabit the building, the temple, and the project.  He will help you build.  He will bring supplies, skilled craftsmen, and materials to help.  And what's more, He will speak to you FROM WITHIN THE TABERNACLE!

God speaks and directs building projects that are being built under His direction.  If a person is going to build their own thing, God is not needed to help or direct.  But when a person is building God's project, help, direction, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding is needed.  God will provide this and will speak to you.  He will guide those who need and ask for guidance.  He will leave alone - all those who want to be left alone.  He will be silent to all those who don't want to hear His voice or direction.

There is nothing more exciting than to see a follower of Christ develop their 25 Word Core Vision Statement and a set of short, medium, and long term goals.  Then as they begin to walk with God and read the bible every day, and as they begin to ask for wisdom, the Lord begins to speak from WITHIN THE TABERNACLE and give directions.  There is nothing more thrilling and exciting than to see the Lord at work, CO-OPERATING and CO-MISSIONING the building project.  And there's nothing more notable to a believer than to "know that you know" that God has authorized and blessed the work of your hands, that He is walking with you, and that He is opening doors for you that no man can close!

Listen for God's voice from WITHIN THE TABERNACLE.  If you are building after His blueprint, He will begin to speak clearly to you from within, just as He spoke to Moses from within the tabernacle.

NOTE:  There is a difference between hearing and listening.  We can hear everything around us, but that doesn't mean that it will move us.  But if we are listening to the voice of God, it will move us to action when He speaks.  Listeners move.  Hearers sit idle.    king  king  king
